Cheeky, blunt. They may be unpredictable, but they're never deceptive (ie. they'll truthfully tell you what shit they're getting into.) Chaotic good, has a strong moral compass. Values the concept of self-sacrifice. They like to make small talk with their passengers.

Sometime in the past set up a water taxi service in Gimli, Manitoba, Canada. Their service is famous (or infamous) for its unique toll system, which allows passengers to pay any price in any form of currency they wish. Novy then charts the journey according to the value lost to the passenger, ie. $20 means more to someone of lower income than to someone more well off; or a trinket of little material worth, but of extreme sentimental value to the owner. Now, their service operates (virtually) all around the world.

On at least two seperate occasions, a passenger left behind a child as payment, leaving Novy to become their caretakers.

Owns a magic boat that allows them to change its appearance at will (ranging from a row boat to a cruise ship). Can fast travel between bodies of water (the limitations of this are yet unknown)
